Women's Three Day Summit Overnight Program
(3 Days)
This three day overnight program will take place on the South Side of Mt. Hood. The course is designed to give women the essential skills of mountaineering in a comfortable setting. The course will begin with a moderate hike with all of our essentials for climbing and camping. We will make camp on the Palmer Glacier. At our camp we will teach the basics of snow camping, footwork with crampons, handling ice axes, and traveling on a glacier. We will even dive into anchor building and steeper snow climbing skills. The trip will culminate with an attempt to summit Mt. Hood via the Old Chute route. This is a program not to be missed, no experience required.

Cost: $755 per climber for groups of two or more.
Women's Mt. Hood Summit Program
(2 Days)
This course will begin bright and early on the first day. We will teach the basics of steep snow travel, using crampons, using an axe, and moving together on a rope team with other ladies. We will reconvene for an alpine start where we will get a ride via a snowcat to the top of the Palmer Chairlift at 8,500'. From there we will begin our climb in hopes of summitting Mt. Hood.
Offered: June 13-14, June 29-30. Additional dates arranged on request.
Ratio: 6:1 for class, 3:1 for the climb.
Cost: $485 per climber for groups of two or more.
